Stage 1 | Terneuzen – Breskens | 182.7 km

The first stage is a flat sprinter’s stage through the open Zeeland and Dutch countryside. The riders will start in Terneuzen and ride along dykes, windmills and expansive polder roads towards the finish in Breskens, for three more local loops. There is a high chance of wind, so who knows, we may already see some echelon action in the opening stage. Wind and echelons can cause time differences in the results and, who knows, may even play an important role in the final classification right from the start.
