Benelux Tour rescheduled to 2023
The Benelux Tour, the only multi-day UCI WorldTour competition in Belgium and the Netherlands, will be moved to 2023. Originally, the competition was scheduled to take place between 29 August and 4 September of this year.
Date of Benelux Tour 2022 set
The UCI has officially confirmed that the Benelux Tour (UCI WorldTour) is to start on the last Monday of August, just like last year.
Mohoric: ‘A dream day for the team’
Last year Mathieu van der Poel stunned the Benelux Tour with an incredible final day solo. This year Matej Mohoric followed in the Dutchman’s footsteps with an impressive solo win in Geraardsbergen: “Tactically we rode the perfect race.”
Campenaerts: ‘Happy with the way I raced’
Victor Campenaerts gave everything to try and snatch away the overall win in the final stage of the Benelux Tour, but the Belgian had to settle for third. Still, Campenaerts was proud of the attacking way he raced this weekend.
Colbrelli hails ‘work of the entire team’ behind overall win
Sonny Colbrelli secured his overall win in the 2021 Benelux Tour after a strong second place in the final stage to Geraardsbergen. Colbrelli, the first Italian to win the event, hopes he can “continue this form until the world championships.”

Bahrain-Victorious lived up to its name in the 2021 Benelux Tour. Matej Mohoric won Sunday’s seventh and final stage, teammate Sonny Colbrelli was second and secured the overall win.
