A repeat of last year’s opening stage, where you can watch the team presentation and the start at the Brug van Vroenhoven in Riemst in the morning. The peloton will quickly make its way along the winding roads to the finish in Bilzen-Hoeselt for three more big laps, where around 4 p.m. it will become clear who is the strongest on the slightly uphill final straight.

Stage 4 | Riemst – Bilzen-Hoeselt | 196.0 km
This Limburg stage takes the peloton through a mosaic of hills and vineyards. With Riemst as the starting location and an arrival in Bilzen-Hoeselt, we get a replay of last year’s opening stage. The rolling roads and short climbs invite attacks, but could they also cause a split in the peloton? Last year, Jonathan Milan sprinted to victory and the first leader’s jersey in a bunch sprint.

VIP
During the fourth stage from Riemst to Bilzen-Hoeselt, there are two VIP packages available. You can opt for the VIP Départ on the grassy square at the Brug van Vroenhoven in Riemst, where you can enjoy brunch with a view of the water and the team presentation. At the finish in Bilzen-Hoeselt, there is the VIP Arrivée, close to the finish line, offering street food and an open bar.

Start | Vroenhoven Bridge, Riemst
• Public transport: De Lijn bus lines connect Riemst with Maastricht, Tongeren and Bilzen. Stop close to the bridge.
• Cycling: Located at cycle node 70, accessible via the Meuse dyke and Haspengouw routes. Extra racks at the visitor centre.
• Car: Park outside the village and cycle to the start.

• Public transport: Bilzen railway station with bus connection to Hoeselt. Bus stop close to the finish.
• Cycling: Beautiful Haspengouw cycling routes lead to the finish. Extra racks on the edge of the course.
• Car: Use edge-of-town parking and shuttle bus to the finish.
During the first stage of the Renewi Tour you will undoubtedly get to know the splendour of Riemst. The rolling Marl landscape with its winding ascent forms the backdrop for an exciting start. Come visit Riemst (with your bike) and be amazed by the beautiful cycle paths, the marl soil and, of course, our regional products.
On Saturday, August 23, 2025, Bilzen-Hoeselt once again welcomes the Renewi Tour. The penultimate stage finishes in Grote-Spouwen, with the line drawn along the familiar Rode Kruislaan. The riders will wind through the rolling hills of Haspengouw, passing local landmarks. A thrilling sprint or a bold solo attack? Either way, excitement is guaranteed. Bilzen-Hoeselt offers a perfect blend of cycling and hospitality. Come enjoy the race and discover everything this vibrant region has to offer.
