On Friday 21 August 2026, one of the key stages of the Renewi Tour takes place. From Celles, the peloton heads towards Geraardsbergen, where the iconic climbs of the Mur de Geraardsbergen and the Bosberg traditionally provide plenty of excitement. This stage could prove decisive in the battle for the blue-green leader’s jersey.

Celles makes its debut as a host city of the Renewi Tour and serves as the starting point of this queen stage.

Nestled in the heart of Wallonia Picarde, the municipality of Celles invites you to discover the authentic landscapes of its six villages. Combining nature, rural charm and a relaxed lifestyle, it provides the ideal setting for the start of a Renewi Tour stage. This event is the result of a collaboration between the municipality of Celles and Ferme d’Écavée in Molenbaix, an iconic location in the region. From 22 August to 4 October 2026, Ferme d’Écavée will also host the BUTOR Biennale of Contemporary Art, inviting visitors to discover contemporary artworks in an exceptional rural setting.

The finish is located on the Vesten of Geraardsbergen, one of the most iconic cycling locations in Belgium.

Geraardsbergen, famous for its mattentaart (pastery), Manneken Pis and the Muur (Wall). Located in the heart of the Flemish Ardennes, the city has many more assets. The hills provide adrenaline, the water and nature give peace, the historic center offers culture and the many stores guarantee plenty of shopping pleasure. Geraardsbergen is alive!

Accessibility

Stage 3 starts in Celles, which makes its debut as a host town of the Renewi Tour. The start area is located in a more rural setting, so visitors are advised to allow enough time for their journey. Whenever possible, please choose carpooling, cycling or shared mobility options. If you are travelling by car, follow the local signposting and take into account possible temporary traffic measures around the start area.

Finish in Geraardsbergen
The finish in Geraardsbergen traditionally attracts many cycling fans, especially around the Mur de Geraardsbergen, the Bosberg and the finish area on the Vesten.

Spectators are advised to arrive early and, where possible, to use the bike or public transport. Cycling also makes it easier to move between the key points along the route.

If you are travelling by car, please take into account temporary road closures, restricted access around the main climbs and traffic measures near the finish area.
