24.08.2025 | LEUVEN – LEUVEN | STAGE 5

Program

Leuven is buzzing, not only with student life, but also with cycling passion. Since the unforgettable 2021 Road World Championships in Flanders, the city has become a fixture on the international cycling calendar. The rich history of the GP Jef Scherens, followed by the Tour of Leuven, lives on and will write a new chapter in 2025: the final stage of the Renewi Tour. The decisive battle for the classification will take place in the heart of the city, along the narrow streets and steep slopes, and on Bondgenotenlaan we will see a winner of the highest calibre.

The final stage of this Renewi Tour takes place in the cycling-mad city of Leuven, host city of the 2021 Road World Championships. A local city loop with short climbs such as the Keizersberg and the Wijnpers, interspersed with a longer tour towards Hageland, ensures spectacle right up to the very last metres. In Leuven, on the beautiful Bondgenotenlaan, the battle for the stage victory and the overall classification will be fought.
