From the Belgian coastal town of Blankenberge, the peloton heads south to Ardooie, which often provides the backdrop for a classic bunch sprint. Last year, the stage from Blankenberge to Ardooie was also part of the Renewi Tour, when Jonathan Milan claimed his second stage victory. The stage in this year’s edition is again predominantly flat, and a second bunch sprint in a row is on the cards. Or will we see someone surprise the sprinters in the second stage?
